Mid-Market Cold Call

For 10 to 60 FTE businesses paying for a fragmented stack. Goal: book a 30-minute technical audit. We do not close on this call. Read the gold lines. Disarm them if they push back. Press O for objections, Space for timer, 1-9 to jump steps.

Pre-Call Prep Card

Do NOT dial a mid-market prospect without this filled in. If you can't do the 90-second research, pick a different prospect. The "obvious leak" is your opening for the diagnosis. Without one, you're cold pitching and they can smell it in 5 seconds.

01 Open · The Leak Question 15 sec · 0:00 to 0:15
Hey is this [Business]?
"Yes"
Hey [Owner], I'll be quick. We work with companies your size helping them get more out of the lead flow they already have. Had one quick question. Are you keeping up with every lead coming in right now, or do some slip through?
Stop talking. Their answer determines everything that follows. Most owners will admit some slip through, that's your opening.
C Clarify · Their Stack + Their Leak 60 sec · 0:15 to 1:15
Gotcha. How many people are working the phones and chasing leads? And what's the stack look like, CRM, website, ads, all separate tools?
Listen. Take notes on the tools they name, you'll repeat them in the Label step.
What happens when someone calls after hours or fills out the form on a Sunday?
This question forces them to confront their leak. Most can't answer it cleanly. Silence after this question is the moment the script starts working.
L Label · Mirror the Stack Back 15 sec · 1:15 to 1:30
So you've got [X tools] running separately, leads coming in faster than the team can chase them, and the after-hours stuff falls through unless somebody catches it the next morning. Fair?
Wait for the yes. If they push back, ask one more clarifying question and re-label. Don't move on without confirmation.
O Overview · What's Been Tried + Burned 45 sec · 1:30 to 2:15
What have you tried so far? Anyone bring in a marketing agency, sales ops, ad management, any of that?
Listen.
How'd that go? Cost versus what you actually got back.
Listen for: "expensive," "they overpromised," "we never saw the ROI," "the agency disappeared," "we built it in-house and it never finished." Their pain here is your wedge.
S Sell the Vacation · Consolidation, Not Another Tool 75 sec · 2:15 to 3:30
Look, what we do isn't another tool to bolt on. Most businesses your size are already paying for four or five separate things. Website, CRM, dialer, automation, somebody running ads. The math doesn't work and nobody's really accountable when something breaks.
Pause. Let "four or five separate things" land.
We built one thing that does all of it, plus five AI Employees that work the leads for you.
01
AI Receptionist
02
Reputation Manager
03
Database Reactivation
04
Marketing Director
05
Website Manager
AI Receptionist picks up missed calls within 60 seconds. Reputation manager asks for a review after every job. Database reactivation pulls back old leads automatically. Marketing Director runs the paid ads. Website Manager keeps the site current.
Pause.
Most clients replace two or three vendors and end up paying less than they were before.
● THEY ENGAGE "Yeah, that's us"
Continue To
Step 06 - Demo RevealNo additional script needed
Default path. They recognized the pattern. Move straight to the texted teardown.
◆ THEY PUSH BACK "We already have all that"
Then you might genuinely not need us. If your missed-call rate is under five percent, your speed-to-lead is under five minutes, and your team isn't double-entering anything between tools, I'd tell you keep what's working.
Pause.
Most businesses your size have at least one of those three leaking though, and that's usually where the conversation goes.
Why This Works Differently You're not telling them not to buy (like with small biz). You're telling them you only sell when the diagnosis matches. That positions you as a consultant, not a vendor. The three metrics (5% missed calls, 5-min speed-to-lead, no double entry) are deliberately precise, you sound like you measure outcomes, not promises.
D Demo Reveal · Text the Teardown 30 sec · 3:30 to 4:00
I pulled your business up before this call and put a few notes together. Not a sales deck. Just the spots where I'd start if it were my business. If I texted it over, would you be against giving it a quick look while we're on?
The teardown should already be prepped. If you cold-dialed without one, do NOT pretend you have one. Skip this step and go straight to the audit ask in Step 09.
W While They Look · Match To Internal Reality 60 sec · 4:00 to 5:00
Main thing I'm flagging isn't the website. It's where leads are getting lost. Anything in there match what you're already seeing internally?
Their reaction tells you whether to push Core, Full, or Enterprise in the next step.
E Explain Away Concerns · One Acknowledgment, One Question 45 sec · 5:00 to 5:45
"We have HubSpot / GHL"Got it. What are you paying them, and what's their actual job? Not unusual to find we replace what they do for half.
"We have an agency"Cool. What are they billing you monthly, and what's the actual deliverable? If they're charging $4K a month for ads management, we might be your alternative built in.
"Not interested"Fair. Usually it's timing or a bad experience. Which is it?
"How much?"Setup runs $1,997 to $3,500. Monthly is $999 to $1,997 depending on tier. Most clients save more than that off what they're already paying.
"Send me a deck"I can. Quick question first, who else on your side needs to see this? I'd rather just get the right people on a 30-min audit so we're not playing email tag.
"We're not ready to change"Totally fair. What would have to be true six months from now for it to be worth a look?
Press O for the full objection drawer.
R Reinforce · Book the Audit 15 sec · 5:45 to 6:00
Take a look. If two or three things in there match what's actually happening internally, let's get 30 min with whoever runs your operation.
Core
$999/mo
+ $1,997 setup · 10-25 FTE · 3 AI Employees
Full DEFAULT
$1,997/mo
+ $3,500 setup · 25-60 FTE · all 5 AI Employees + ads
Enterprise
$3,997+/mo
+ custom setup · 60-100 FTE · CSM · SSO · custom API
You're selling the audit, not a tier. Tier comes out of the audit conversation. On the call, your only job is to book 30 min with the owner attending.
GBP setup only across all tiers. Do NOT promise weekly Google profile management or posts at any tier, including Full or Enterprise. Pricing page copy is stale on this. Setup help only.
● HOT Book the audit now
Awesome. I've got tomorrow at 10am Eastern or Thursday at 2pm, which works better? I'll send the calendar invite with the teardown attached so you can share with anyone else on your side.
● WARM Needs internal alignment
Got it, who else on your side should be in the room? Let's lock something for next week with all of them. I can do Monday or Wednesday, what works?
● COLD "Not now"
All good. When does your current vendor contract come up? I'll set a calendar reminder for 60 days before and reach back out then. No spam in between.
Default recommendation = Full. Core only for clear 10-25 FTE with one specific tool to replace. Enterprise only if they explicitly need SSO, dedicated CSM, or custom integration.
